Darin D. Dodds, M.Ed., LPCC

Darin is an Ohio Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with over 13 years of experience serving individuals and families. He completed his Bachelor's degree at Bluffton University and received his clinical training at Malone University, earning a Master's degree in Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

 

Darin’s focus areas include adults and youth exhibiting mental and emotional challenges, relationship problems, career dissatisfaction, criminal behavior, impulse-control issues, and faith-oriented concerns. He wants to help you better understand yourself and your life experiences, celebrate and utilize your gifts and talents, and eliminate the barriers preventing you from realizing your purpose and experiencing true meaning and satisfaction.

 

Darin trained with the renowned Beck Institute for Cognitive-Behavior Therapy in Pennsylvania and uses CBT to treat various conditions, including depression, anxiety, and challenges associated with chronic pain and illness. He is a Certified SYMBIS Assessment Facilitator and uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy, among other approaches, to enhance premarital and marriage therapy outcomes.

 

Darin is a member of Focus on the Family’s Christian Counselors Network. He received formal biblical instruction at Winebrenner Theological Seminary and continued at Malone University, integrating wisdom and biblical principles into counseling and psychotherapy practices. He believes faith is foundational in therapy and feels blessed to walk alongside others as they transform and experience God’s best.
